Mejillas was born from a passion for craftsmanship, innovation, and the timeless spirit of agave. Its creators partnered with a respected multi generational agave growing family in the highlands of Mexico to create a tequila rooted in tradition and shaped by nature.
The name Mejillas, meaning “Cheeks” in Spanish, represents strength, resilience, and quiet power qualities reflected in the agave that thrives through heat, rocky terrain, and time.
Hand selected mature agave is traditionally roasted, naturally fermented, and carefully distilled to create expressions of refined character. From the bright Blanco to the rich Añejo and smoky Mezcal, every bottle celebrates the land, the craft, and the spirit of those who rise stronger through every challenge.
